North
West Business Education Network (NWBEN) has been funded by the NSW Department
of Education and Training (DET) to ensure all schools in Hunter’s Hill,
Ku-ring-gai. Ryde and North Sydney region (Lower North Sydney region) have
access to quality structured work placements for students who are studying a
vocational education and training (VET) courses in conjunction with their HSC.
NWBEN
works closely with the both private and Department of Education schools to
assist young people to gain an understanding of industry expectations and to
provide quality placements that enhance their employability skills and
understanding in a real work environment.
We
encourage feedback from schools to ensure that the program meets the needs of
both students and industry.
