North West Business Education Network (NWBEN) has been funded by the Department of Education Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) to ensure all schools in Hunter’s Hill, Ku-ring-gai and Ryde have access to structured work placement and industry led careers guidance.

The following Career Advice Australia programs are implemented by the NWBEN:

  • Structured Workplace Learning (SWL)
  • Career and Transition Support (CTS)
  • Adopt a School Program (ASP)

As a Local Community Partnership, the NWBEN works closely with industry, schools, community representatives and career practitioners. Building on many years of involvement with schools in SWL we are now providing expanded services to the local secondary schools and businesses for the benefit of young people.

We are determined to maximize the opportunities and ensure NWBEN is effective so we welcome feedback from all stakeholders including local schools, to gather information and to identify the direction our programs should take.
